These are edible, I found a recipe which socks the berries in water to make a drink. I remember my Grandmother telling me, as a child she would put the berries on her cereal.
Berries on the Staghorn Sumaco.
There is also a smooth berry, perhaps it was that which my Grandmother put on her cereal.
